A small moment, passing through the city.
This piece captures a familiar street scene, where a streetcar moves steadily along its route, framed by layered architecture and open sky. Inside, a group of dogs lean gently against the windows, holding a soft banner that reads “LOVE FROM TORONTO.”
Each one carries a slightly different presence. Some look outward, some remain still, and one quietly rests at the end, adding a subtle pause to the movement.
It is not just the scene itself, but the feeling within it.
A sense of motion, lightness, and a quiet kind of connection that exists in ordinary moments.
Each design begins as an original hand-drawn illustration, developed from observation and reimagined through simplified forms. Elements are intentionally reduced and rearranged to focus on atmosphere rather than exact detail.
From the positioning of the streetcar to the expressions of the dogs, every part is composed to feel balanced, natural, and calm.
The illustration is then translated into a ceramic magnet, with attention to texture, material, and how the piece sits within a space.
Designed in Canada and inspired by Japanese craftsmanship, this piece is made to be kept.
Not just as a reflection of the city, but as a small, quiet moment you can return to.
