A small boat drifts beneath the Lions Gate Bridge as curious harbor seals gather near the water's edge. A child leans over the side, reaching out with wonder, while a seagull quietly watches from the railing. Mountains rise in the distance, reminding us how closely city life and the natural world exist together in Vancouver.

Inspired by real moments observed along this coastline, this piece reflects the gentle curiosity shared between people and wildlife. It is not about spectacle, but about slowing down long enough to notice the life already around us.

Each design begins as an original hand-drawn illustration, carefully composed from observation and never generated by AI. It is then translated into ceramic, featuring a subtle raised texture that allows the lines and details to be felt by hand.

Designed in Canada and inspired by Japanese craftsmanship, this piece is made to be kept. Not just as a memory of Vancouver, but as a reminder that some of our most meaningful encounters happen when we approach the world with curiosity and care.
